Why I choose Emirates?

I love Emirates... 

Besides it's multiple choice of destinations, those flying on business and first class receive complimentary cheuffer service to and from the airport.. Just do advanced booking online.

Paris lounge prepare all Halal food in their lounge.. And of course all Halal food on board. The lounge also hv Prayer area... With Azan played for reminder..

I will not hesitate to choose Emirates again.

Hotel Villa des Ternes

Yesterday i checked out from le Meridien and moved to Hotel Villa des Ternes, just 50 meter away..

This room only cost €93/night (no bfast).. I saw the public rate is €240!! Phew lucky. So always book in advance ya.. ;)
Comparing to meridien it was €224/night!

The room is very nice and cozy.. Modern furniture.. Got kettle in the room.. Bath tub.. And everything else that I need.

Except for the veeery slow Internet connection :(

This could be a nice option next time.

Not too long after I arrived to the hotel after checking again at Palais info counter, I've got a call from CIGRE reception desk...

They informed me that someone has found my bag in a bus near Chapelle and now it is at the main bus station (Center RATP stn) in Aubervilliers.

To go there by taxi cost €40 and by metro only €1.90..  But timing is like 15mins compared to 1 hour by taxi vs metro. I however took metro as I don't have much cash.

Alhamdulillah...  After 15 mins walk from Front Populaire (M12 line), I arrived at the bus station. I got by bag back....  Well of course my Prada wallet and gopro is gone..

I feel thankful to Allah btw for allowing me to receive my passport back and other little stuff in it (and my Deuter bag too). Syukur alhamdulillah.

Everybody said that I'm very lucky to have my passport back. I am indeed. It's a true miracle!  Subhanallah MashaAllah

Now heading to Msia embassy to inform that I've found my passport.

As expected, of course there's no refund for the €11 but they will inform France interpol that I've found my passport. They cancelled my temporary passport so that I won't hv problem using the original one.

What a day..

I was having a cocktail lunch after women cigre meeting in room 252AB of Palais des Congress whike my bag was left on the front chair in that room.

The moment I came back, it's gone!!!
I lost everything in my Maroon Deuter bag.. My prada wallet, GoPro (with pictures from 1st day), cash (~€300), visa cards, ic, license, hotel room key and even pasport!! Allahuakbar

Was looking everywhere. Reported to Congress admin, but nothing was returned to lost and found department.

The Congress lady finally brought me to the security of PDC... I make a report and he gave me a copy. He said the report is same as Paris police report.

I wasn't convinced. Togethee w Syakirah and Prof Zainal, we went to a police stn near Franklin d Roosevelt. At first he did not allow us to come in. He said must report to other police stn. But finaly he allowed 1 person to go in.

I am now waiting for the police to make ny report... I'm not sure really what keep them so long. I hope I will get my report soon. Amin.

Later I hv to take 2 pc passport photos.. Then go to Msia embassy to get a replacement passport.

Ya Allah mudahkan urusanku.. Semoga hati ini tenang dan redha dengan ujian Mu... Semoga mendapat ganti yang lebih baik. InsyaAllah

What embassy needs?
- Copy of police report (went to police stn near Franklin d Roosevelt)
- 2 passport photo (took photo in metro, €5)
- Copy of ID (luckily I got my scanned copy of previous passport and IC in my hard disk)... Made a quick print at le Meridien

Alhamdulillah ada Sya and Prof.. They borrowed me some money to survive untill my return.. And teman me to police stn as well. Thanks guys...

Lesson learned;

1. Don't put all eggs in one basket

2. Leave your passport in the hotel safe box

3. And leave the extra cash too

4. Carry your valuables everywhere u go even in a safe meeting room. You'll never know things might happen to you

Finally..  I went up the tower. Yay

Together with Mr Dev, En kamarol, En Din...  We queue for hours... Bought a €17 ticket to the top of eiffel by elevator (€11 if middle)... Finally I got to go to the top..

Lucky us it was sunset. Subhanallah..

On Sunday, we hire a taxi, fit in 6 ppl (including nasri sidek), we go to la vallee village. Taxi cost €103 + €120.. Divide 6 ppl
If go by train it's only €7/way

Paris - I'm back!

It's 'the' time of the year again.. Paris here I come...

This time for CIGRE, new sets of people coming... DSCEO, VP + wife, SGM Kamarol, GM Dev, CE Zainudin Y, Dr Ridzal, Dr Nadiah and Wan Syakirah...

Each have own agenda and task...

Me of course, presenting my paper again..

7. Musée d'Orsay

8. Palais du Luxembourg

Back in Paris

Back in Paris today.. supposed to be along tiring day after an hour flight from Pau.. we went out for very late lunch at Istanbul Halal Restaurant in front of Notre dame.

Then back to Novotel (200m from eiffel). Just outside is a big mall..Beaugrenelle. awesome mall which i grab for myself another rose gold watch. It's on sale. 50% off. Only cost me €115 (x4.25)...

Marise help me with the proposal. She suggested us to go to Cauterets or Bareges.

From Tarbes can take the train to Lourdes.. and catch a bus from Lourdes station to these 2 villages.

Pic du Midi, Pyrenees

Awesome snow experience with Marise. Wow!!! Alhamdulillah.

We went all the way up to Pic du Midi of Pyrenees mountain. It is a ski resort with fresh snow.  About 50km+ (1 hour) drive from Tarbes. We were lucky that the road was not close due to the snow. Sometimes it is closed and you need to change the tires.

That morning was 1°C and later in the afternoon was 9°C. Awesome awesome and awesome! ! To get up to the peak we need to go on 2 cable cars and pay €46 but lucky us Marine got us invitation passes from her bos' wife. Yay!!

We then went to see the frozen lake Lac de Payolle and along the way we saw and amazing waterfall. Partly frozen. Exactly like in the FROZEN. .. and Rise of the Guardian!. Weehoo..

Dream comes true it is..

For dinner we to Martine's house,. Marise best friend.  Jean michel was there.. Marina, Lou (Syasya's babysitter), and few others. I must say.. such cute tea party. We had deliciously home made pie.. lots and lots of chocolate. . Cakes etc.

Tired by the events we went to Le Rex hotel to check in. Thank you to our darling friend for an awesome day..

Paris here i come again ♡♡

Only me and Syasya this time. She's so lucky that business class occupant is only 40 per 60.. alhamdulillah they didn't make any fuss when i bring her to business class. Lucky you Syasya!!! Mama hope u will remember this for the rest of your life. InsyaAllah.

Weekend with Perrochon-Leprieur ♡

After a stressful week in Paris.. i was lucky to be with my new family - the Perrochon-Leprieur

After checking out on Saturday morning at Hyatt, Pascal together with the kids Chloe and Raphael came to pick me up.

We went 50km west to La Queue-Lez-Yvelines. Prior to arrival we make few stop over, the morning market was one of them. And I love it!

Pascal introduced me to one of the cheese shop owner.. a very nice lady. And i got taste all kind of cheeeeseee.. can i say everything is my favourite?! Ha ha

Valerie was at home greeting my arrival and the kids were so excited showing me everything. Funny fun thing was, we communicate using google translate app.. i talk.. Mr google translate.. then they replied.. translation again..

We then had a nice lunch... baked fish.. and self-pick tomatoes! And that was raphael's favourite

After lunch pascal brought me to Montfort l'Amaury - a small village with beautiful house with a tower. Very warm people and awesome macaroons and eclairs too ♡♡

We then head to Chateau de Versailles (Versailles castle) to see the famous Marie antoinette estate during French revolution. For more info visit

I was so lucky that valerie and pascal has purchased for the entry and that evening we get to explore the 12 garden of versailles.. awesome!! The visit start at 8pm and closed at 10pm.. ended with fireworks show.. if not mistaken.  The firework show is every weekend during summer.

The next day (sunday), we went picnic with other friend and family - olivier, marie blange, marie, lisa, clara, diego and the perrochons (oh my.. i miss one more name)

Then continue exploring Chevreuse - a small town with classical castle of La Madeline on top of the Chevreuse hill

Then to Dampierre-en-Yvelines.. a huge castle with an exvlusive wedding going on.. also a famous spot for bikers tho!!

Our visit ended at Rambouiller - a nice lake with park and of course castle.. said to be centre for government meetings during special occation..

Man.. i consider myself very lucky now to get to see all these..
